It means you can host your apartment on Airbnb — with building rules in place to support responsible hosting. We offer this as a perk for our residents, and we maintain visibility into hosting activity in the community. • Pre-listing: Check with property management to see if any additional paperwork is required and review information about local regulations. For assistance, contact residenthosting@greystar.com
• Start your listing: Visit Airbnb to create your listing, using high quality photos of your unit and building amenities.
• Accept program terms: Next, accept the Airbnb program terms and building’s rules.
• Submit your listing: Then, submit your listing. Building management should review and respond in a few days.
• Start hosting: Once approved, open up your calendar and get ready to greet your first guests!

The following is required:

• In good standing (no outstanding lease violations, balances due, etc.)
• At least 60 days left in the lease agreement or a signed renewal agreement
• Executed Resident Hosting lease addendum.
• Review the Hosting Rules located in the resident portal.
• Obtain a short-term rental permit from their city (if required by local jurisdiction).

Yes. Each community sets a night cap, typically 90-120 nights per year. This limit helps ensure the apartment remains the resident’s primary residence. Visit the property’s Airbnb information page for information on your building’s annual cap.
• Yes. Generally 10%-15% are allowed to participate in the program on a first come, first serve basis.
